Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in nursing education? Join CQUniversity’s School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences as a Lecturer in Nursing (Academic Level B) and help build the future of healthcare by educating and inspiring the next generation of nursing professionals.
As a Lecturer in Nursing, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering high-quality, profession-specific education across undergraduate and/or postgraduate nursing programs including clinical classes and residential schools. You will contribute to curriculum development, coordinate units, engage in scholarly research, and enhance the student experience through flexible, multi-modal teaching strategies—both online and on campus.
You’ll also have the opportunity to supervise honours and postgraduate students, collaborate with industry and community partners, and participate in research aligned with the CQUniversity’s strategic priorities. Position Requirements
Registered Nurse (Division 1) with current AHPRA registration, relevant postgraduate qualification, and teaching credentials or willingness to undertake tertiary teaching studies.
Experience teaching undergraduate/postgraduate students using multi-modal delivery, with ability to develop and deliver unit content including lectures, tutorials, and clinical classes.
Track record in scholarly research, including publications and grants, with a willingness to pursue research aligned with School priorities and seek external funding.
Ability to collaborate with industry and community stakeholders and contribute to curriculum innovation and flexible, including online, delivery modes.
PhD in a relevant field, or currently enrolled and progressing toward completion.
