Salary/Level: PSCA, Level 3, $86,439 - $92,795 p.a. plus 12% Superannuation
Tenure: Permanent, Full-time
Location: Perth Zoo, Western Australia
This position works as a key component of the Facilities and Environment team in ensuring the Zoo's buildings, facilities and grounds are presented and maintained in a clean, tidy, safe and functional condition through a combination of onsite maintenance, staff and external service contractors.

The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current and satisfactory National Police Check and a pre-employment medical and Zoonosis vaccination program prior to commencement.

Selection Criteria
Applicants should address the following four (4) criteria. These should be addressed in no more than two (2) pages in total.
1. Experience in supervising staff and contractors in a facilities and grounds maintenance environment in a high visitation public attraction.
2. Previous experience with the engagement and supervision of relevant specialist contractors within delegated authority.
3. Ability to carry out minor carpentry, painting, paving, fencing, concreting and other general building and facility maintenance works.
4. Demonstrated understanding of Occupational Safety and Health responsibilities including hazards identification, contract safety management, the safe use of equipment and materials. The successful applicant will be required to obtain a White Card.
