The Student Pathways and Careers Division supports secondary schools in delivering a consistent approach to engage, retain and transition young people to employment, vocational learning and higher education.
The Manager Projects, Improvement and Reporting reports to the Director, Services and Programs and is responsible for leading and overseeing the development and implementation of policies and projects in order to realise the state government’s career education and pathways objectives. The position will exercise significant independence in strategically leading, managing and providing expert advice on the planning,development and implementation of policies and projects, with a particular focus on system improvements, data management and reporting.
The Manager Projects, Improvement and Reporting will adhere to the department's project management methodology and will lead and manage the development and maintenance of networks and relationships with key stakeholders to deliver corporate objectives. The incumbent will be required to manage and evaluate the implementation of policies and projects. The role will also provide high level reports and tactical advice for senior management and executive within the Department and across government.
The environment can at times be politically sensitive in relation to further education, employment and governance. The position requires extremely high levels of confidentiality, and is subject to frequent periods of high workload and changing priorities.
Remuneration:
MAS3 $127,859 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
