About the role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated team at the Peel Eye Clinic in Mandurah, WA. This is a part-time role, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-focused healthcare environment. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth running of our clinic.

What you'll be doing

Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner

Scheduling appointments and preparing the clinics

Answering telephone and telephone enquiries and follow-up communications

Assisting with administrative tasks, such as faxing, filing, data entry, and medical record management

Maintaining a clean and organised reception area to create a welcoming environment and other duties as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a medical receptionist

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Must be able to work independently as well as a team environment

Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

A friendly, reliable and strong work ethic
