The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a Management Accountant to join the FP&A team. Collaborating with the broader Finance team, this role offers scope to partner with senior stakeholders, provide key financial insights and contribute to strategic decision-making across a key business unit of the firm.

The Challenge
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, examples of key responsibilities include:

• Prepare monthly management reports and partner reports
• Take a lead in annual forecast and budget cycles
• Leverage advanced data and BI tools to enhance management reporting
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and generate reports to evaluate profitability and performance against budget targets
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain alignment and accuracy across all financial reporting

The Expertise

• CA/CPA qualification with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years' commercial experience post-grad in analytical, reporting and budgeting roles.
• Experience in a professional services firm or ASX company will be preferred.
• Experience using dashboard and query analysis tools for analysis and reporting (e.g., Power BI).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across finance teams.
