Group Accountant – Bundaberg (Relocation Required)

A leading, family-owned Australian business with a global footprint is seeking a Group Accountant to join their growing Finance team in Bundaberg. This newly created role focuses on supporting the company’s international expansion and managing financial reporting across multiple entities.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in overseeing financial reporting, compliance, and governance. You will work closely with business units to ensure accuracy, drive process improvements, and support strategic decision-making across international entities in the UK, US, Netherlands, and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare inter-entity eliminations and consolidated financial accounts
• Conduct independent general ledger reviews across all entities
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and EOFY audit coordination
• Partner with cost centre teams to improve financial performance
• Drive finance-related process improvements and automation
• Assist with ad hoc finance projects and duties as required

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years’ experience in finance or accounting, ideally in complex or multi-entity environments
• Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel and ERP experience
• Experience with intercompany eliminations, consolidation accounting, foreign currency translation, and transfer pricing
