Established in 1996, we are a successful custodian for high net worth investors, family offices, hedge funds and investment managers, advisors and other financial intermediaries. We are currently seeking a finance professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilites

You will be responsible for providing support to the Chief Financial Officer and financial accounting team.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

Maintain in-house custody system, including recording transactions in identifiable accounts, reconciliation of bank accounts, execution of documents and reporting

Assist in the preparation of periodic IAS and BAS returns for the responsible entities

Preparation of income tax returns on behalf of Companies, Partnerships and Trusts

Assist in the preparation of the half-yearly and annual statutory accounts

Completion of ABS surveys

Compliance with Mining Guidelines

Contribute to the continuous improvement of in-house accounting and custody system

Other tasks as directed

The ideal candidate must be CA ANZ or CPA qualified and is expected to possess all the necessary skills to carry out the duties and fulfil the responsibilities of this role and must include as a minimum:

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Up-to-date knowledge of accounting software

Excellent verbal and written communication

High level of attention to detail

Organised and able to meet deadlines
