Our Information Technology Team are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of strategic projects that enhance business outcomes and community services.

You will play a key role in initiating, planning, resourcing, and delivering projects that support Council’s digital and operational priorities. Working with Business Analysts, technical specialists, and subject matter experts, you’ll ensure projects are well-governed, well-communicated, and deliver measurable value.

This role involves leading multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic environment focused on innovation and improvement.

Your key focus areas are;

Develop business cases and project plans to assess and support new initiatives

Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver practical, effective business solutions

Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships

Drive change management processes to embed new systems and ways of working

Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders and executives

Promote teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all project activities

What you bring:

Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or a related field, or extensive relevant experience

Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams and manage competing priorities

Strong skills in change management, stakeholder engagement, and problem solving

Experience managing projects in complex and evolving environments

Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills

A collaborative and adaptable mindset with a focus on innovation and delivery
