The Heights Technical College will be a visionary institution that aims to revolutionize technical education in South Australia. The State Government is investing in Technical Colleges that will set the standard for excellence in their design, learning environment and delivery of skills-based training for school-enrolled students.
The Heights Technical College is planned to open in 2026 and will be co-located with The Heights School. The students at the Technical College can get a head start to a career in 1 of 4 in-demand industry specialisations.
The Heights Technical College will offer four industry training programs focussing on industries in high demand such as Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering, Aeroskills (aviation maintenance), Building and Construction, and Early Childhood and Education. The college will partner with high-profile employers, training providers and higher education partners.

What You Will Do:
This position will focus on the delivery that allows students to fulfil the requirements of the industry training programs delivered at the Technical College. The trainer provides current and authentic industry learning activities and coaching that develops the skills and dispositions required by employers in the workplace
In collaboration with the Industry Program Lead to implement and evaluate the curriculum of the Industry Training Programs.
Contribute to the planning, delivery and assessment of industry experiences, career planning, coaching and mentoring
Provide advice and assistance to support students with industry connections and opportunities in the workplace
What you will need:
Proven ability to establish sound effective relationships and communication with staff, students, parents and training providers to promote professional dialogue and a collaborative working culture resulting in improved educational outcomes for students.
Proven ability to deliver approaches that foster student engagement and support learner growth.
Extensive successful experience working within your specific trade/professional area
