Our client is a well-established and growing business in Australia located in Moorabbin, known for their friendly and collaborative team culture. They are currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent, full-time basis. Key Responsibilities:

Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

Prepare and reconcile bank statements

Support general ledger maintenance and journal entries

Assist with BAS, payroll, and other statutory reporting requirements

Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders as needed

Provide administrative support to the finance department

About You:

Minimum 5+ years' experience in an accounting or finance support role

Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. MYOB, Xero, or similar)

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
