We are a not-for-profit organisation on the picturesque banks of the Murray River bordering both New South Wales and Victoria.

If you enjoy outdoor work and have a passion for grounds maintenance activities, we have an excellent opportunity for you. We offer a wide variety of course maintenance and sporting activities, including a 9-hole golf course and putting green, two turf bowling greens, mini putt-putt, and a tennis court. Whilst we would prefer previous experience in similar work, we are prepared to provide training for a person with enthusiasm for the job and a willingness to learn. What we will value most highly is a strong 'hands-on' work ethic, and the ability to work as a team member.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE.

On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be involved in activities such as fairway, greens, and rough mowing; bunker preparation; spraying; etc., which affect the operation of a wide range of course equipment. From time to time, you will also be involved in renovations and projects as we continue upgrading our course and facilities. This is physical 'hands-on' work, often requiring you to turn your hand to "out-of-the-ordinary" activities like repairing irrigation lines, tree pruning, digging, etc.

ABOUT YOU.

•Physically fit to undertake all duties involved in the position.

•Self-motivated, proactive and able to work in a team environment.

•Willingness to gain knowledge and experience in all aspects of turf maintenance.

•A current driver's licence

•To maintain compliance with work health and safety and environmental regulations.

•A certificate in Sports Turf Management/Horticulture is desirable but not essential, along with a preference for outdoor work.

•Experience in the operation of commercial groundskeeping equipment is also desirable but not essential.

•Chemical spraying licence and experience would also be advantageous, but not essential.

•Australian permanent residency status is required for this position.

There may be a requirement for periodic weekend am work (with notice)
