Schlegel Pty Ltd is part of the global Quanex Building Products group. We design and manufacture innovative sealing solutions and hardware for the window and door industry. As we expand across Western Australia, we’re seeking a dynamic Sales Manager (WA) to own growth, deepen customer partnerships and win new business.

Role Snapshot

Territory: Western Australia (Perth‑based). Occasional interstate travel as required.

Customers: Fabricators, OEMs, distributors and key industry partners.

Focus: Retain & grow key accounts, convert new opportunities, and cross‑sell across the Schlegel and Quanex portfolio.

What you’ll do

Manage and grow a portfolio of existing WA customers with clear account plans and quarterly reviews.

Prospect and convert new business opportunities to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.

Promote and cross‑sell the full range of Schlegel seals and Quanex hardware solutions.

Collaborate with Customer Service, Technical, and Operations to support trials, qualifications and new project launches.

Forecast sales, prepare budgets & business plans, and report performance data with clear insights and actions.

Resolve customer complaints and claims with professionalism, speed and thorough follow‑through.

Represent Schlegel with integrity, accountability and industry presence at meetings, site visits and events.

What we’re looking for

Experience & skills

5+ years in Sales Management or Key/Account Management.

Proven track record of hitting targets and growing key accounts.

Background in building products or manufacturing advantageous (not essential).

Confident user of CRM (e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot) and Microsoft 365.

Personal attributes

Customer‑centric communicator who builds strong relationships at all levels.

Self‑motivated, organised and results‑driven with strong commercial acumen.

Collaborative team player who enjoys field time and solving problems on site.

Willing to travel regularly throughout WA; occasional interstate travel.
