About the Role
Join a leading manufacturing and production company who specialise in manufacturing advanced piping systems based on Brisbane’s southside. You’ll work closely with a skilled team of fitters and electricians, ensuring timely preventative and reactive maintenance of various equipment and machinery are carried out. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company who have a newly built facility at Acacia Ridge.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on various fixed manufacturing machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on a mix of modern and legacy equipment.
• Execute scheduled servicing, inspections, and overhauls, including occasional equipment upgrades and project work.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with production team to identify root causes and deliver permanent fixes for operational issues.
• Safety standards and accurately documenting all maintenance activities are upheld

What You’ll Bring

• Qualified Mechanical or Maintenance Fitter
• Proven experience in a heavy industrial setting, including fault finding, maintenance, and repair of fixed machinery and equipment.
• Skilled in both routine maintenance and responding to breakdowns.
• Experience with machine installation and project work is a plus.
• Restricted Electrical Licence is desired.

Salary & Benefits

• $50-$55/hr or roster package option with allowances and loading - $108K - $110K + Super
• Flexible hours - Choose from 4/4 roster on permanent day shift or a standard Monday to Friday schedule from 6:00 am - 2:00 pm, with regular overtime available
