About the role

MSS Security is seeking experienced Control Room Operators to work at the Reserve Bank of Australia in Craigieburn. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily control room operations, managing incident responses, monitoring security systems, compiling reports, and ensuring adherence to site policies.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately document any incidents or security breaches, ensuring they are communicated to the appropriate personnel.
• Undertake the day-to-day operations of the control room, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
• Coordinate emergency response activities and ensure timely action.
• Enforcing up to date Standing Operating Procedures and communicating changes of policy, procedures, and operating requirements.
• Operate control room systems including CCTV, alarms, access control, and communication platforms.
• Verify identification, control access, and conduct security screenings.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Proven experience in control room operations and familiarity with security systems. This includes a strong understanding of various CCTV, access control systems.
• High quality report writing is essential.
• Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanour.

Requirements:

• Full Australian working rights.
• Current Victorian Security Licence with the control room subcategory.
• Certificate III in Security Operations.
• Current Victorian Firearms Licence (or willing to obtain).
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain).
• Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain).
• ​White Card (or willing to obtain).
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, 0800-1800.
