About The Team

The Strategy and Insights Office provides high-quality decision support to the University community by transforming data into meaningful insights. The team works across a range of internal systems and external sources to collect, analyse, and present information that informs strategic planning and enhances institutional effectiveness

Your New Role!

The Surveys and Analytics Officer is responsible for managing the University's student and graduate feedback survey programs, including both ongoing internal surveys and ad-hoc projects requested by staff. The role ensures that all survey activities are conducted in line with university policy, with a focus on strengthening the student voice to enhance the overall student experience.

In addition to survey coordination, the position supports the Strategy and Insights team with a range of analytical and research tasks, including the administration and reporting of national and external student feedback surveys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver internal student feedback surveys.
  • Maintain the effective operation of survey systems and processes across the University.
  • Assist with the implementation and reporting of national and external student surveys.
  • Contribute to analytical and research activities within the Strategy and Insights team.

This Continuous | Full Time (37.5 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $79K - $96K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • A completed bachelor's degree, along with relevant experience in a related field.
  • Proven ability to produce clear and accurate quantitative reports.
  • Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with Power BI and other data visualisation tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate issues, interpret data, and present clear, actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to identifying solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced skills in Excel.
