The Senior Site Manager on this $150m high rise project in Milton will be able to demonstrate their ability to:

• Supervise and oversee the direction of the project (or a package), ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
• Liaise with the client, other construction professionals and sometimes members of the public
• Coordinate and supervise construction workers
• Make safety inspections and ensure construction and site safety
• Check and prepare site reports, designs and drawings
• Maintain quality control procedures
• Find ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up
• Assess and minimise risk
• Write reports and keep on top of paperwork
• Help to negotiate contracts and secure permits and licences

The Senior Site Manager will have the following attributes:

• Ideally a Construction Management degree or equivalent tertiary qualification
• Demonstrated experience working as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager for an established construction company
• High rise project experience is extremely attractive
• Ability to manage a team of Contract Administrators and supervisors
• Commercially astute
• Ability to effectively manage Industrial Relations
