Are you an experienced Sheet Metal Worker with a background in air-conditioning duct fabrication and installation? Join the skilled team at TDC Refrigeration & Electrical, working on diverse commercial and residential projects throughout Central Australia.

We are seeking qualified and motivated tradespeople who take pride in their workmanship and want to be part of a supportive, growing team.

Position Overview:

This position involves fabricating, assembling, and installing air-conditioning ductwork and related fittings. You will work from plans and drawings, operate sheet metal machines, and carry out site installations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of producing high-quality work within required timeframes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

· Fabrication and welding using Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and Mild Steel.

· Operating machinery such as Press Brake, Guillotine, and Sheet Metal Rollers.

· Measuring, marking out, and cutting accurately from drawings and designs.

· Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans.

· Completing various fabrication tasks and on-site installations.

· Ensuring all work meets high standards of quality and safety.

· Assisting with the manufacture and installation of air-conditioning ductwork and components.

Skills and Experience:

· An AQF Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Sheet Metal) or equivalent qualification.

· Minimum 3 years of full-time experience in sheet metal work or duct fabrication.

· Experience in manufacturing and installing HVAC ducting systems.

· Strong understanding of safe work practices and relevant Australian standards.

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and design plans.

· Competence in the use of hand tools, folding machines, guillotines, and fabrication equipment.

· Good communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team.

Required Licenses:

· Driver’s License (manual preferred).

· White Card (Construction Industry).

· Forklift License (desirable).
