PLASTERBOARD CEILING PTY LTD is seeking a skilled and reliable Fibrous Plasterer to join our team. We are a registered company in Western Australia , operating from our main business location in WA 6052.

This is a full-time position, with a standard work week of 38 hours.

About the Role

The role involves the repair, maintenance, and installation of plasterboard walls and ceilings in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. We are looking for a dedicated professional to perform high-quality work and contribute to our team.

Key Responsibilities

· Install plasterboard sheets on walls and ceilings according to specifications and building standards.

· Measure, cut, and shape plasterboard to fit specific spaces, including around openings such as windows, doors, and service fittings.

· Secure plasterboard sheets using adhesives, screws, nails, and other appropriate fastening systems.

· Install prefabricated decorative plaster products, such as cornices, ceiling roses, and other ornamental mouldings.

· Apply jointing compounds, tape, and finishing systems to plasterboard joints to achieve smooth and even surfaces in preparation for painting or finishing.

· Repair cracks, holes, and damaged sections of plasterboard surfaces as required.

· Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.

· Read, interpret, and work from building plans, drawings, and specifications.

· Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards at all times.

· Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines and quality requirements.

· Liaise with supervisors, builders, and other trades to coordinate workflow on construction sites.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly dispose of construction debris.

Skills & Requirements

· At least two years of full time of previous relevant experience required.

· Knowledge of plasterboard materials, tools, and repair techniques.

· Ability to work accurately and deliver high-quality finishes.
