East Wimmera Health Service (EWHS) is a fully accredited small rural health service across five campuses encompassing five communities in the Buloke and Northern Grampians Shires in North Western Victoria.

An exciting opportunity is now available to work for a fixed term as a Clinical Support Nurse supporting undergraduates, new graduates, students and trainees in the clinical department.

The CSN works under the direction of the Clinical Education Coordinator and in collaboration with the key clinical staff to provide facilitated learning and leadership to develop high quality clinical care and aged care skills with graduate nurses and student placements.

The role also contributes to organisation wide education programs within the areas of their expertise. The CSN is an advanced clinical nurse who stimulates enquiry, reflection and the use of evidence in clinical practice to promote excellence in consumer directed care and advance practice change.

The Clinical Support Nurse will be required across all EWHS Campuses so a current driver’s license is essential.
