We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Nurse Educator Liaison (Scrub/Scout Lead) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our hospital education programs and delivering innovative, engaging scrub/scout educational content.

You Will Make an Impact By:
Building strong relationships with nurse educators/managers in our hospital programs to drive engagement, enhance satisfaction, and maintain client retention.
Developing and delivering high-quality scrub/scout educational content across multiple formats, including:
Social media posts and stories
Weekly educational website articles
Course summary documents
Select Advanced Scrub/Scout Live Series sessions
Foundational Scrub/Scout on-demand courses
Combining your passion for perioperative nurse education with creativity to deliver high-quality, impactful resources.
Sharing your knowledge and expertise with a much wider audience, reaching hundreds of members across Australia and New Zealand
To Excel in This Role, You Must:
Be registered with AHPRA (essential).
Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in perioperative nursing, primarily in a scrub/scout role, with exposure to a range of surgical specialties (essential).
Have experience as a scrub/scout nurse educator (desirable).
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Possess up-to-date knowledge of best practices in perioperative nursing, including endorsed guidelines and new surgical equipment.
Exhibit strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Have excellent IT skills and be proficient in Zoom, Google Drive, Canva, Airtable, Zapier, and Kajabi (or the ability to learn quickly).
Be confident using social media platforms, particularly Meta.
Be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
Thrive in a small team environment, with strong virtual communication skills, compassion, and a collaborative mindset.
Understand and embrace the mission, vision, and values of Periop Concepts, and strive to advance perioperative nurse education through creativity, lateral thinking, technology, and high-quality teaching.
Have access to a quiet workspace equipped with a computer and reliable internet connection. Additional resources may be provided to support you in your role.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in nursing within Australia (essential).
Postgraduate or master’s degree in nursing (desirable, or currently undertaking).
Postgraduate training in clinical teaching (desirable).

Role Details
Hours: Part-time - 1 full day per week (8 hours), with the possibility of increased hours as the business grows.
Location: Fully remote - can be performed from anywhere with a reliable internet connection and quiet workspace.
Remuneration: Competitive hourly rate of $55.53 plus superannuation.
