Accessible Diversity Services Initiative Limited (ADSI) is a respected not-for-profit organisation in Western Sydney delivering quality aged care, disability, and community programs that make a real difference in people’s lives.

We are seeking a Finance Officer (Fixed Term) to support our Aged Care (Home Care Packages, CHSP, Support at Home) and NDIS programs. This is a three month contract role, with the possibility of extension depending on funding and organisational needs.

About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Officer will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely management of program finances, including:

Preparing and reconciling NDIS and Aged Care funding claims t

Processing supplier invoices, staff reimbursements, and credit card transactions in Xero.

Assisting with budget tracking, month-end reconciliations, and grant acquittal processes.

Maintaining strong internal controls and supporting compliance and audit requirements.

Working collaboratively with program managers to ensure data accuracy across client and finance systems.

About You

You will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting community services through sound financial management. You’ll bring:

Experience in a finance or accounting role (community, aged care, or NDIS sector preferred).

Knowledge of NDIS and Aged Care funding processes and government claim systems (desirable).

Proficiency in Xero, Excel, and digital record-keeping systems.

Strong understanding of confidentiality, accuracy, and accountability.

Qualifications or equivalent experience in accounting, business, or finance.
