InVeris Training Solutions is a leading company in simulated weapon training systems and live fire target systems. Established in Albury 26 years ago, InVeris supports Defence and law enforcement with the supply, maintenance and operations of simulated weapon training systems across Australia.

InVeris is recruiting a full-time Service Technician to join our growing team in Wodonga VIC. This position is an addition to our existing team of simulation service technicians supporting Defence Weapon Training Simulation Systems across Australia. This role involves the day-to-day support and servicing of simulation systems and equipment, primarily computing, software, A/V and pneumatic simulation equipment.

The Service Technician performs back to base repairs of simulation computers and other equipment, as well as performing on-site routine maintenance and installation of simulation systems domestically and internationally. This position is tailored towards a skillset in computing and information technology support with a broad understanding of complex systems and sub-systems including pneumatic equipment.

Primary duties include:

· Assembly, repair and service of computing and electrical/electronic equipment

· Technical support, installation and commissioning of product in the field both domestically and internationally

· Repair, assembly and testing of computers and simulated weapons

· On-site customer support

· Participation in customer demonstrations

· Recording and collating of Technical Information

· Product assessment / evaluation

· Product customization for specific customer requirements

· Produce reports on technical issues and travel

· Conducting training for operations and maintenance of simulation systems

· Other duties as required

We’re looking for candidates that ideally have the following skills and experience:

A Certificate III Computing / Information Technology or higher is essential

Experience in a technical support role is essential

Microsoft Windows 10 & 11 support

Excellent communication and customer service skills
