As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Property Services Estimator & Job Scheduler to join our Property Services team in Melbourne (Head Office). This full-time role plays a key part in coordinating maintenance, repairs, and renovation projects across multiple sites, ensuring our high standards of service and efficiency are consistently met.
About the Role
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate quotes and tenders, coordinating project scheduling, allocating trades, and ensuring workflow efficiency across the Property Services division.
You will work closely with the Vic State Manager, project managers, site supervisors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to ACW’s quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed, timely quotes for maintenance, repairs, and renovation projects.
Source competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring accuracy in all costings.
Coordinate and schedule multiple jobs, allocating staff and trades based on availability, skills, and location.
Monitor job progress and adjust schedules to meet deadlines and client expectations.
Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, responding to all client queries within 24 hours.
Maintain Servicem8 records, quotes, and schedules in line with QA and compliance requirements.
Ensure all contractor and supplier engagements comply with ACW policies and OH&S standards.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports detailing quote volume, job status, and upcoming pipeline.
Participate in process improvement, toolbox meetings, and training initiatives.
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a mix of trade, renovations, or maintenance background, strong estimating and coordination skills, and excellent communication. You take ownership of your work, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy seeing projects through from concept to completion.
You will have:
Proven experience in property maintenance, Renovations, estimating, or project scheduling.
Strong knowledge of trades, materials, and maintenance practices.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and negotiation skills when dealing with clients and suppliers.
Proficiency in job management or scheduling software (Servicem8 experience highly regarded).
Sound understanding of OH&S and QA compliance.
Current driver’s licence and willingness to attend sites as required.
Highly regarded qualifications:
Trade qualification or similar hands-on experience.
White Card and valid Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
