About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Panelbeater to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out body repair and panel work on customer vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Assess whether part is repairable or replaceable.

Removing damaged panels and parts.

Removing upholstery and accessories to gain access for repair work.

Straightening damaged vehicles and parts using hydraulic equipment.

Repairing dents.

Replacing badly damaged sections with new or second-hand panels.

Cutting panels.

Welding replacement panels to attach to old panels.

Filing, grinding and sanding repaired surfaces.

Installing door and tailgate locks, door handles, and side mirrors.

Adjusting and repairing chassis.

Ensuring quality repair work in line with company and industry standards.

Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Other tasks necessary to carry out body work and panel beating work.

Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience.

High-quality workmanship.

Ability to use panel beating tools and equipment with efficiency.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
