Therapeutic House Supervisor – Intensive Therapeutic Care

Are you ready to lead with purpose and make a real difference in the lives of children and young people? CatholicCare’s Permanency Support Program is expanding, and we’re looking for a passionate House Supervisor to join our Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) team.

As a Therapeutic House Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of a trauma-informed, healing-focused environment—guiding a dedicated team and supporting young people who’ve experienced significant adversity. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to be a mentor, a role model, and a catalyst for positive change. This is a permanent full-time role based in our Sydney Metro house. We provide flexible working options where 3 days of the week will be spent in the allocated house and 2 remaining days can be worked from home or any of our offices.

What Your Days Will Look Like:

• Lead and supervise the daily operations of a therapeutic residential home in Sydney Metro.
• Mentor and coach Youth Workers, helping them grow into confident, capable professionals.
• Manage budgets, reporting, and compliance with child protection and safety standards.
• Advocate for the rights and well-being of children and young people in your care.
• Collaborate with Therapeutic Specialist & Case Manager to facilitate young people’s care and therapeutic case plans.

What You’ll Bring:

• A degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Social Welfare (or a relevant Diploma in Community Services plus a graduate certificate in trauma or child protection).
• Min. 3 years of experience working with vulnerable children and young people.
• Min. 2 years of experience team leadership experience in an Out Of Home Care setting.
• A strong understanding of trauma-informed care, child protection, and crisis management.
• An unrestricted Australian drivers licence and access to own car.
