Qualifications & experience

Full Australian Working Rights

Trade Certificate as Fitter Machinist

Maintenance fitter and machinist

Forklift license advantageous

Minimum 2-3 years experience

Full Australian Drivers license required to apply

Tasks & responsibilities

Carry out routine planned and preventative maintenance of plant and equipment

General engineering, marking out, drilling, and tapping

Read and understand mechanical and workshop drawings

Able to machine using lathes and mills

Good mechanical aptitude

Comply with procedures regarding safety, quality, cleaning, and housekeeping.

Participate in assembly, installation, and commissioning of machines and equipment.

A team worker who is willing to work as part of a team as well as autonomously.

Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks in a timely manner.
