We strive to provide our clients the best advice, service and experience. We have a position for an experienced senior Property/Conveyancing Lawyer to join our team.

Qualifications & experience

Proven experience in property law and conveyancing, with a solid track record of managing transactions from beginning to completion using PEXA.

PAE experience in residential property transactions, including SMSF.

Minimum 5-7 years of Post Admission Experience (PAE) is required.

PAE experience in business and commercial transactions, including leasing, buying and selling businesses, franchising, and debt recovery, is advantageous but not essential.

Experience in wills and estates is advantageous but not essential.

Familiarity with property law in multiple Australian states.

Licensed to practice law in New South Wales.

Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Australian work rights will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Skills:

Excellent drafting and organisational skills.

Ability to manage multiple files independently and prioritise competing deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency with legal practice management systems (LEAP preferred) and Microsoft Office.

Tasks & responsibilities

Manage a full spectrum of residential property transactions, including conveyancing, the acquisition and sale of properties and SMSF.

Advise and assist with business and commercial transactions such as leasing, acquisition and sale of commercial property and businesses, franchising agreements, and share sales agreements.

Handle conveyancing transactions independently using PEXA.

Work with property transactions across New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia and other Australian states, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.

Advise clients on a variety of property-related legal issues, including Contracts for Sale, loan documents and guarantees.

Liaising with different stakeholders to achieve the best result for the client.
