About the opportunity:
We are seeking a visionary Data and Digital Workplace Lead to drive digital transformation and data strategy across DEM. This is a pivotal leadership role focused on enhancing collaboration, mobility, and productivity through innovative digital workplace solutions and enterprise-wide data governance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategy and implementation of digital workplace solutions.
Drive a centralised, governed data capability across the department.
Oversee data governance to ensure data quality, security, and accessibility.
Champion the use of digital workflow and low-code tools to deliver a digitally enabled workplace.
Oversee the incorporation of AI into the business.
Manage delivery of data services and digital products, leveraging the department's recent technology investments.
Foster a culture of data literacy and self-service analytics throughout the department.
Collaborate with enterprise architecture and business units to solve business challenges with digital solutions.
About You
You are a strategic thinker and collaborative leader with a passion for digital innovation. You bring:
Proven experience in leading digital transformation initiatives.
Strong knowledge of data governance and analytics.
Excellent project management and leadership skills.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
Ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

Qualifications:
Essential: Tertiary qualifications in IT, data related field or related field.
Desirable: qualifications in project management, communications or risk management.
Remuneration:
ASO8 salary range $121,107 - $125,679 per annum + superannuation
Full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week
