About the role

Arete Health Care are seeking an Assistant Clinical Care & Services Manager to join our team at Hixson Gardens Aged Care located in Bankstown, NSW. This full-time position will see you play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality care and services to our aged care residents.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Clinical Care & Services Manager in the coordination and supervision of care staff to ensure resident care needs are met

Monitor and maintain clinical standards and practice in line with registration requirements

Provide clinical leadership, education and support to care staff

Contribute to the development and implementation of care policies and procedures

Liaise with external healthcare providers to coordinate resident care

Participate in the quality improvement and risk management processes

Assist with the recruitment, training and development of care staff

What we're looking for

Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years' experience in aged care

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

Demonstrated experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a clinical setting

Strong clinical skills and knowledge of aged care standards and best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Commitment to person-centred care and continuous quality improvement

Australian work rights or valid visa with work entitlements
