Role Requirements:

• Proven experience managing a transactional finance team and accountants
• Strong knowledge of finance systems – ideally SAP, Workday, or Oracle
• Solid understanding of Australian accounting standards, compliance, and reporting
• CPA or CA qualified preferred
• Experience in process improvement and workflow optimization
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
• Ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a transactional finance team and accountants, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, company policies, and reporting standards
• Partner with business units to support accurate financial reporting and decision-making
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance team
• Act as the key contact for finance queries and internal/external audits
