Cairnbrook Farms are currently looking for a Assistant Farm Manager on our RSPCA accredited poultry operations just outside of Traralgon. Cairnbrook Farms is a 2 farm Operation with each farm having 8 RSPCA accredited sheds with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities include:

Daily welfare of the chickens and assisting with the daily management of the farm.

Ensure farm biosecurity protocols are strictly adhered to and maintained.

Ensuring high standards of performance, quality and animal welfare.

Adherence to our processors “Broiler Growing Manual” and RSPCA Standards

Maintaining a safe working environment

General maintenance and machinery operation.

Person Specifications:

Willingness to learn

Ability to work as a team or solo

Keen eye for detail

Good time management skills

Strong communications skills

A positive work ethic

Basic computer skills

No previous experience with poultry required but beneficial, Farm Management or Farming experience also preferred.
