Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Implement project related HR, employment, and recruitment priorities for the agency in line with the Human Resources Transformation Project (HRTP), including to support the deployment of a new Human Resources Information System (HRIS), and other critical Agency or whole-of-service priorities.
- Facilitate the implementation of robust employment screening processes in accordance with existing legislation.
- Review current recruitment and establishment business processes for efficiency and effectiveness and provide/develop plans to deploy new technology and processes.
- Assist in the building, implementation and maintenance of effective and accurate establishment management and related processes.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement in the development and implementation of best practice and contemporary recruitment policies, practices and procedures.
- Support the project planning, implementation, change management and training activities of projects, including the HRIS project.
- Perform other assigned duties within the knowledge, skills and experience expected at the classification level.

The Head of State Service has determined that the person nominated for this vacancy is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer.
The following checks are to be conducted:
- Pre-employment (National Police Record) checks for: Arson and fire setting, violent crimes and crimes against the person, sex-related offences, drug and alcohol related offences, crimes involving dishonesty, deception and/or conspiracy, making false declarations, malicious damage and destruction to property, serious traffic offences, crimes against public order or relating to the Administration of Law and Justice, Executive or the Legislative Power.
- Disciplinary action in previous employment.
