Senior Architect – NDIS Housing Projects (2 positions available)

Are you a technically sharp architect ready to take a leading role in shaping meaningful, accessible housing projects?
Galaxy City is seeking a Senior Architect to join our growing team and lead design and documentation excellence across our NDIS housing and residential developments.

About the Role

This is role is based on-site in Clayton — ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and values technical depth, collaboration, and impact.

You’ll work alongside our Principal Architect to oversee design quality, coordinate town planning, guide project feasibility, and ensure compliance with SDA Design Standards, NCC, and Victorian planning frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Lead feasibility, design development, and construction documentation for NDIS and residential projects.

Direct project design in line with NDIS SDA guidelines and planning overlays.

Drive Revit template development and quality assurance processes across the team.

Mentor junior and mid-level architects to build capability and consistency.

Coordinate with acquisitions and planning teams on feasibility and zoning reviews.

Oversee permit submissions and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and codes.

What You’ll Bring

Minimum 6 years’ post-graduate experience in architecture.

Registered Architect (ARBV or equivalent).

Proven background in residential or supported housing (NDIS/SDA highly desirable).

Advanced Revit skills, including documentation QA and template management.

Deep understanding of Victorian planning and compliance frameworks.

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Strong communication skills and leadership presence within a collaborative team.
