Job Brief

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Signage Estimator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for signage design, production, and installation projects. This role requires a strong understanding of signage materials, fabrication processes, and installation requirements, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

The Signage Estimator will work closely with the sales, design, production, and installation teams to ensure all estimates are competitive, accurate, and aligned with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

· Review and analyze design documents and project specifications to determine scope and requirements.

· Calculate accurate costs for materials, fabrication, labor, installation, equipment, permits, and other related expenses.

· Prepare and present detailed cost estimates and proposals to clients and internal stakeholders.

· Source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive and cost-effective options.

· Conduct site visits to gather measurements, assess conditions, and evaluate project feasibility.

· Monitor market pricing trends and maintain updated knowledge of signage materials, technology, and processes.

· Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure estimates reflect accurate specifications and achievable timelines.

· Identify potential risks, variations, or project challenges and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions.

· Assist in contract negotiations to ensure project profitability while maintaining client satisfaction.

· Update estimates as required when project scope or design changes occur.

· Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and supporting documentation.

· Assistance to review & monitor estimating platforms with the ability to extract & review potential opportunities

· Role may include some minor account management of internal accounts

Qualifications

· Proven experience as a Signage Estimator, Estimator, or in a related construction/print industry role.

· Strong knowledge of signage materials, fabrication processes, and installation methods.

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

· Proficiency in MS Office Suite and estimating software (experience with signage-specific software highly regarded).

· Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication and negotiation abilities with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

· Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

· Basic knowledge of signage industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements is a plus.

· 3-5 years’ experience in industry or similar with manufacturing background
