About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced and motivated Factory Supervisor to oversee daily production in a busy joinery workshop. This hands-on leadership role involves managing workflow from set-out to dispatch, troubleshooting machinery, and ensuring every project meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality. Perfect for a trade-qualified cabinet maker ready to step into a leadership position or a proven workshop leader looking for a stable, long-term role.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day factory operations, ensuring projects run smoothly and on schedule
• Troubleshoot machinery and coordinate maintenance as required
• Lead, mentor, and support cabinet makers across all production stages
• Inspect and sign off completed items before dispatch
• Review drawings and work orders for accuracy and feasibility
• Manage scheduling for set-out, production, and installations
• Oversee purchasing, materials, and stock control
• Approve timesheets and monitor productivity
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised factory in line with OHS standards
• Ensure delivery loading and dispatch are completed accurately and on time

Skills & Experience:

• Trade-qualified Cabinet Maker (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• Proven experience leading or supervising a joinery or manufacturing team
• Strong understanding of joinery construction methods and machinery operation
• Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency
• Basic computer skills for scheduling, planning, and documentation
