Junior Contracts Administrator – commercial, retail & industrial building contractor

Ideally will a degree in Construction Management + 1-2 years’ experience with a building contractor in Australia in a Cadet, Junior CA or Estimating role

Will receive a salary of between roughly $80,000 - $100,000 per annum + Super

An opportunity for a degree qualified Construction Cadet / Junior CA to join an excellent building contractor with offices on the Gold Coast. Possessing trading history of over 20 years and with offices throughout Australia this company has established a reputation as a leading commercial, retail and industrial building contractor on the Gold Coast with projects valued from $2M - $50M in value. In this position, being office based, but with trips to site you will work as a Junior Contracts Administrator, reporting to being trained by a Senior CA and Project Manager.

Some duties will include:

Draft subcontractors’ scope of works and awarded subcontracts

Prepare and reviewed progress claims

Liaise with internal stakeholders and consultants to resolve contractual issues

Raise and tracked purchase orders for project items

Maintained document control from start to finish of project lifecycle

Process supplier and subcontractor invoices

Use of specialist industry software for costing, programming etc

Ideally suited to a construction Cadet / Junior CA located on the Gold Coast, a recent Graduate in Construction management or similar with 1-2 years experience as a Cadet or Junior CA
