Varied project portfolio across building projects from $1M-$20M in value.
Offices just outside of Brisbane CBD
2-5 years’ experience as a Contract Administrator with an Australian building contractor
Start at short notice an option or 4 weeks’ notice can also be accommodated.
Salary dependent on experience, anticipated $110,000 - $140,000+Super (d.o.e)
Monday to Friday working week.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and career focused individual to fill the role of Contracts Administrator for this excellent commercial building and fit-out contractor located on the outskirts of Brisbane CBD. This multi-disciplined contractor has delivered fit-out refurbishment and new build projects with a focus across the Government, health, industrial and commercial. Current projects include police stations, private hospitals, warehouses and education buildings, typically valued between $1M - $25M in value. This requirement has come about due to newly secured projects and a healthy pipeline of work coming through in both the fit-out and build divisions.
The position is ideal for either a Junior or intermediate level CA, who is working towards stand-alone and senior CA and project management positions. Reporting into a the Senior CA and Project Manager, you will join and learn from a high performing team play an important role in the delivery of these projects.
Duties will include;
Contract Letting and Procurement
Cost reporting and forecasting
Use of costing software
Working on a Design and Construct (D&C) projects and fit-out projects.
Preparing Scope of Works
Sub-contractor Negotiation
Assess progress claims and subcontract payments
Preparing and submitting variations to the client
The Candidate:
Will have between 2-5 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator
Ideally have a Construction related tertiary qualification, ideally in Construction Management or Engineering
Will have experience working on projects in the new build, fit-out and/or refurb space.
Will have had some experience of key costing software packages such as Jobpac, CHEOPS, Jonas Premier.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
