About the role

This is a full-time, on-site role operating on a 9 day fortnight rotation located in Bunbury, WA 6230. As the Operations Coordinator at South West Compressors, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the workshop and onsite maintenance operations, ensuring efficient and effective production processes.

What you'll be doing

Scheduling and coordinating work assignments for workshop technicians and staff

Monitoring workflow and production targets to identify and resolve bottlenecks

Maintaining inventory and ordering parts and supplies as needed

Providing guidance and support to technicians to improve productivity and efficiency

Generating detailed reports on performance and metrics via our Aroflo workshop management system

Training will be provided on Aroflo workshop management system for successful candidates

What we're looking for

Successful candidate must have valid electrical qualifications and be willing to handle electrical repairs within the SWC workshop.

Proven experience in a similar workshop coordinator or production planning role

Minimum 2-3 years of workshop coordinator or production planning experience is required

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with technicians, managers and other stakeholders

Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools

Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly

Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment

Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required for this position
