An exciting opportunity has opened up to join a leading aviation services provider as a Security & Compliance Officer, supporting operations at a busy catering and logistics facility. This role plays a key part in national security efforts and works closely with a highly experienced Security Manager.

Your new role

In your new role, you will be responsible for:

• Lead and support investigations into security breaches and compliance issues
• Conduct airside audits, spot checks, and facility walkthroughs
• Manage ID access, assist with new employee compliance and criminal history checks
• Deliver security inductions to staff
• Monitor CCTV, access control systems, and contractor activity
• Liaise with internal teams and external agencies such as AFP and ABF
• Ensure compliance with bonded warehouse and aviation security regulations
• Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies
• Contribute to national security initiatives and promote a security-first culture

What you'll need to succeed

• Background in police, military, border force, or internal corporate security
• Experience with CCTV, access control, and incident reporting
• Strong written communication and reporting skills
• First Aid/CPR certification desirable.
• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive situations
• Experience in regulated industries like aviation, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus.
