The role

Zone Security is seeking a skilled and experienced Corporate Security Officer to join our team in Melbourne. This full-time role will involve providing comprehensive security services to our high-profile corporate clients in the Melbourne CBD.

Key responsibilities

Conducting regular patrols and inspections of client premises to identify and address any security concerns

Monitoring and responding to security alarms and incidents, liaising with emergency services as required

Controlling and managing access to client sites, including screening visitors and monitoring access points

Providing a calm, professional and reassuring presence to ensure the safety and security of clients, staff and visitors

Maintaining detailed records and reporting on all security-related activities and incidents

Communicating effectively with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a corporate or commercial security officer, preferably in a CBD or high-profile setting

Strong knowledge of security systems, access control and risk management principles

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a range of stakeholders

A calm, vigilant and proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks

A current security licence and first aid qualification

The shift is 11am to 7pm, Monday to Friday
