About Avivo:
We partner with individuals and families to give them the support they need - whether it's dealing with disabilities, aging, or mental health. Our mission? Helping people live their best lives and stay connected with their communities. We offer permanent part-time contracts starting with a minimum of 10-15 guaranteed hours per fortnight which will increase as we build your roster.
We are currently recruiting customers in the following areas:
Pinjarra / Waroona:
Providing personal care and community access supports. We offer 10-15 hours per fortnight, available 7 days a week (including weekends) from 6:30 am to 10:00 pm. Hours will start at this range and gradually increase
Mandurah: Offering domestic supports for customers in the Aged Care sector.
Rockingham - Shoalwater & Waikiki
- Providing community access, personal care to both female & male customers, and domestic supports.
- We offer a minimum of 15 hours per week to start, with the potential for gradual increase
- Annual Leave covers required over the Christmas period
- Supports commence from 7am /8am
- One hour supports on weekday evening - 5.30pm -6.30pm & 9pm -10pm (preferably female support workers)
What You'll Do:
- Domestic Assistance such as housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, and personal administration (e.g. shopping, banking, paying bills)
- Support customers with personal care, such as bathing, toileting, grooming and hoisting (this includes customers with high care needs)
- Support customers stay connected to their communities. (appointments and activities, family and friends)
- Think outside the box by finding creative solutions to challenges.
We offer on-the-job training and buddy shifts to help you pick up all the skills you need!
What You Need:
- A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle (important for the role)
- A NDIS Worker Screening check (or be ready to get one)
- A positive attitude and creative thinking
- Flexibility to work different shifts
- Experience helping individuals and families (would be great)
- Qualifications in Aged Care, Disability, Mental Health, or Community Services (also would be great)
