About the Role
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in the daily lives of NDIS participants, helping them achieve their goals, maintain independence, and enjoy a safe, comfortable home environment. You’ll be working in a team-based SIL setting, providing consistent, person-centred care tailored to each individual’s needs.
We offer part-time, and full-time positions, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for career growth.
Your Responsibilities
Assist with personal care, hygiene, daily routines and medication administration
Support with domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping
Lead and encourage engagement in house activities
Encourage community participation and social engagement
Provide companionship and emotional support
Promote independence and skill-building in everyday activities
Collaborate with Support Team on weekly house activities, and house member enrichment
Collaborate with participant Multidisciplinary teams for training on specific support needs
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with the wider care team
Uphold safety standards and follow all relevant policies and procedures
What We’re Looking For
Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
Experience in disability support or nursing (Enrolled Nurse background highly regarded)
NDIS Worker Screening Check & Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Additional Certifications/Training relating to Disability Support
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
Commitment to upholding the dignity, rights, and independence of people with disabilities
