The Company:

A leading Financial Services business is looking for a Power BI Developer with a strong background in Finance to work on a Financial Reporting uplift project. You must be Sydney based and be able to work in the office 5 days per week.

The Role:

• Partner closely with the Data & BI team and key stakeholders to understand requirements and translate into reporting solutions.
• Work with complex data sets to build innovative financial reports and dashboards to illustrate key metrics and analytics.
• Data analysis of financial information such as credit, funds, cash-flow, ratings, etc.
• Drive self-service on Power BI reporting, provide mentoring and coaching on best practices and stay abreast of emerging trends, tools and technologies within data & analytics.

Your Profile:

• Computer Science and/or Finance Degree along with a minimum of 5+ years of experience within a Financial Services environment providing data analysis & analytics.
• Proven expertise in using Power BI and DAX for building interactive and real-time Finance related dashboards and reports.
• Strong financial & semantic modeling experience.
• Hands-on experience in Fabric, SQL, Synapse, Python, Azure DevOps, CI/CD.
• AI & ML tools & projects experience.
• Superior presentation and storytelling skills.
