About the role

Next Storey Home Additions Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team in North Manly, NSW. This full-time role is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesesperson to take the next step in their career and contribute to the growth and success of our renowned home renovation business.

What you'll be doing

Carry out high-quality carpentry work on residential home renovations and extensions

Read and interpret building plans and drawings to ensure work is completed accurately

Collaborate with the project manager and other tradespeople to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification

Maintain a safe and organised work environment, following all health and safety protocols

Mentor and support junior carpenters to develop their skills

Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

What we're looking for

Formal carpentry qualification and 5+ years' experience in a similar role

Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations and construction techniques

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to overcome challenges on site

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and colleagues

Commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service
