Are you a dedicated educator looking to make a difference? Our Lady of Mt Carmel Parish Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is seeking a motivated team member to support our vibrant service.

For over 20 years, our OSHC has been a valued part of the Mt Carmel Parish and school community. We provide quality care for up to 105 primary school-aged children through before school care, after school care, and vacation care programs.

Reporting to the Service Coordinator, you will be a valuable Educator who will work to create a safe and clean environment for primary school aged children; to deliver fun, engaging and interactive activities.

A day in the life of an OSHC Educator…

Job Requirements:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) would be desirable
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
