Join Our OSHC Team as a Casual Educator!

We're looking for enthusiastic, casual educators to join our Outside School Hours Care team at St Joachim’s Primary School, part of the Holland Park Mt Gravatt Parish. We offer before school, after school, and vacation care for up to 150 children.

What we’re looking for:

• Availability for afternoon shifts (some mornings may be required due to staff leave or changing university schedules)
• Currently studying education or a related ACECQA-approved field
• A love for the outdoors, sport, and engaging with kids through games and activities

A day in the life of an OSHC Educator

• Providing nurturing care for children

• Create fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all
• Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

Job Requirements

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines)
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
