The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, self-motivated leader to join our team as Warehouse Operations Manager. This is a varied role covering all aspects of production, warehousing, and distribution in a small, supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support a small team.

Assist with picking and packing customer orders.

Receive and receipt incoming goods in the inventory management system.

Book freight and prepare documentation, including picking slips.

Communicate tracking information to customers.

Load and unload inbound and outbound deliveries.

Manage warehouse operations including stock control, inventory, and despatch.

Place purchase orders for stock and consumables.

Oversee HACCP compliance and maintain strong food safety and workplace safety standards.

Implement new products, equipment, and production methods.

Use LEAN principles to optimise production planning and delivery schedules.

About You
You’ll bring a practical, team-focused approach with strong organisational and communication skills. You’ll also have:

· Experience in a warehouse operations or production environment, ideally in a small team.

· Confidence using inventory management software.

· Forklift or walkie stacker experience (licence preferred but not essential).

· A positive, problem-solving attitude and willingness to take initiative.

· A strong work ethic and commitment to supporting your team and the wider business.
