Our client is a long-standing and reputable specialist in the aviation distribution sector. For decades, they’ve been a key player in the supply, servicing light aircraft engines and components across several countries
They are now seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse & Systems Manager to lead their warehouse operations in Lilydale. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of an evolving warehouse function, implement systems, and play a key role in shaping the company’s inventory and e-commerce operations.
Key Details
Location: Lilydale
Work Type: Full Time Permanent – Monday to Friday
Start Time: Flexible start time in-between 7am til 8:30am start, finishing by 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities
· Manage all warehouse operations including receiving, inspection, inventory control, picking, packing and dispatch
· Drive implementation and ongoing use of a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
· Lead the development of an online store platform for spare parts and aviation components
· Strong QC/QA experience with excellent attention to detail and process driven.
· Experience within the aviation, automotive or marine experience advantageous
· Conduct stock forecasting, batch tracking, cycle counts, and regular stocktakes
· Maintain safety standards, compliance, and reporting in line with industry regulations
· Ensure accurate documentation and support the business through monthly reporting
· Support with developing internal processes and continuous improvement strategies
· Oversee quality control processes, ensuring aviation compliance and parts traceability
· Lead and participate in monthly safety walks and toolbox meetings
· Train and upskill team members on warehouse systems and SOPs
· Collaborate with internal and overseas teams to ensure timely delivery and system updates
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor
Strong leadership and team management skills
Comfortable balancing hands-on warehousing duties with administrative and systems-based tasks
Familiarity with warehouse and stock systems such as ERP/WMS (e.g. Ostendo, Pronto, SAP)
Aviation, automotive or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
Sound understanding of inventory control, SKU management, and stock forecasting
Excellent computer skills and ability to drive system implementation

This role requires a pre-employment Medical (Drug & Alcohol) and Federal Police Check (fully paid for by the company)

Requirements
Proof of Right to Work in Australia (e.g., Australian Birth Certificate, Passport, or Permanent Residency Visa)
Forklift License preferred (not essential)
Victorian Driver’s Licence
Familiarity with parts traceability and batch coding (aviation or similar industry ideal)
