About the position

Council’s Arts and Culture Department is looking for a Library Officer who will be responsible for actively promoting, supporting and delivering the library's range of programs and services

The main responsibilities will include:

• Friendly and supportive assistance for community members in the library
• facilitating access to the library collection through membership, promotion, circulation and shelving
• Contribute to the success of the whole team through working collaboratively

This is a part time role working 31 hours per fortnight. You will be working Monday 8.45am-5:15pm at Seaford (30 min lunch break), Tuesdays 9am to 3.22pm at Frankston (30 min lunch break) and every second Saturday 8.45am -12pm at Seaford.

• Experience in delivery customer service, preferable in a library of community setting
• Flexible and enthusiastic attitude with the resilience to create positive customer experiences across a range of settings
• Highly developed skills in the use of current technologies and a passion to assist the community

This position is a Band 4A currently remunerated at $74,536.73 per annum (pro rata for part time), plus superannuation.
