Bookkeeper – Accounting Practice Sydney

ZM Partners is a well-established firm conveniently located within Sydney CBD. There are currently 3 Partners and 15 staff with plans for growth. ZM Partners has a fantastic full-time opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join our highly capable collaborative Business Services team based in Sydney CBD.

Reporting directly to the Managers/Partners, you will be responsible for our clients bookkeeping along with the following:

The Role

Join a well-established accounting practice and take charge of this versatile bookkeeping/accounting role. This is a long-standing company that has been operating for over 35 years.

We are now looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who ideally has varied experience & knowledge working with all types of businesses. The role would suit someone who is looking for a long-term position in a friendly and stable workplace.

Key Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following:

· Perform month-end reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, balance sheet
reconciliations etc.

· Cash management and Debt management (account payables and receivables)

· General Bookkeeping duties and basic accounting duties

· Experience with accounting software such as XPM, Xero & MYOB

· Monthly Reporting

· Manage a team of outsourced Bookkeepers

Skills and experience: The Ideal candidate will have

· A minimum of 7 years’ experience in Bookkeeping

· Experience and knowledge with XERO & MYOB is essential for this role

· Strong proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook

· Team working attitude and willingness to perform varied tasks

· Highly developed interpersonal and customer service skills

· Excellent listening, verbal & written communication skills

· Suit mature person
